Jayme Lawson, a recent graduate of NYC's Juilliard School, has landed a 'notable role' in Matt Reeves's Batman film, starring Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman and Colin Farrell as The Penguin.

Few details have been revealed about Lawson's character in the blockbuster, shooting early this year. The rising American actress also appeared at the Sundance Film Festival for the debut of indie film Farewell Amor in which she plays a teenage Angolan girl reunited with her father after 17 years.
